Rankin Brothers on 31 August 2008. My wife and I went to see this show with friends from St Louis, Kansas, and Arkansas. We all had a blast. The show was terrific. Everyone in our group had a good time and were impressed with the talent in this show. Only in its first year, the Rankin Brothers have made a great impression around town with the locals and with visiting guests from around the country.

Amazing Pets - don't go see it. I saw it back when Popovich was in it. Boy, it has gotten boring now.

I can't remember hearing or reading any good comments about the show since he's been gone. Btw, IBYP, it's good to see you on the board again.

Our last show was at Christmas last year. We saw the Barber show. It was really good. I love that show. It seems every time we make a trip up to branson, we end up seeing Hamner Barber.

I went and saw the show last year AFTER Popovich had gone to Las Vegas and the show was HORRIBLE. I left at intermission. I head kids telling their parents "can we go now". It was like a "show and tell". This is my cat "fluffy" and she will play the piano....and the cat set there and looked at the audiance and then ran away. That is the way the entire show was. This is my woodchuch, pet rat, etc, etc. I can not describe how bad. It was so bad, it was almost funny. The only reason I thought about staying was to see if the show could go downhill anymore. I finally figured that I didn't want to waste another hour of my life on that crap and left.

20 SEP 2008 - Branson Late Live with Jimmy Ponder hosting The Platters and John Tweed. Willie Nash and Andre Shepherd represented the Platters. They discussed the current controversy of having two Platters shows in town. John Tweed brought his guitar and performed an outstanding rendition of, "It's Just A Matter of Time."
