It is so wet here, it creates a new meaning of WET.
It has been raining for days. The ground is soaked and the rain has overloaded the sewer systems in town. When you flush the commode, it will barely go down.
I have been lucky and only lost power for a few hours Tuesday night and a few hours Wednesday. Both caused by fallen trees due to the ground being supersoaked and then the slight wind, blows the trees over.
Things are gettin better around here. Some freinds have not had power or a while.

Eghh. That sounds awful. Things are pretty wet here also, but it's just rain, not storms.

It's rained so much here, where my mom lives she has to boil her water for a while. I'm not sure how long. We are on different water companies. Maybe she won't have to boil the water for long.

Where I live, the town is bad about warning anyone about boil orders. I think they put a notice on page 20 of the local paper. I have turned on my tap and got BROWN water/mud out. I got in the shower once and the water smelt like FISH. It was disgusting. I reported the fish smell to the EPA. Twice I got a drink of water and TASTED mud or something in the water. I got sick once from taking a drink. I bought a water filter after that. The filter sits on the back of my sink. ALL my drinking water is filtered. It is more powerful than the small one of the end of the faucet. If I owned the place, I would put a more powerful filter under the sink.

I am trying to find that ARK again. I figure it might be needed in the next few days. Arkansas is going to get some rain they are forecasting.
I think Critter might need it to go out to the store. I have seen how her town is during a flood.
