weren't you in Branson a few weeks ago? If you were, feel free to tell us about your trip.
Has anyone else been to Branson lately?
It doesn't look like we'll make it down until Labor Day weekend.

Well, this is really old, but I lost this board awhile back during computer issues and just now figured out how to get back here.
We took two trips to Branson this summer. The first trip we stayed at the Wilderness Campground (SDC Campground) in a loft cabin. We love that place, and love their cabins. Spent a lot of time doing things as a family -- all 3 parks, saw Six/Duttons/Haygoods/Shepherd of the Hills, and hung out at the cabin. Tried Billy Gails for the first time and fell in love. We'll eat there again.
Second trip we stayed at a Thousand Hills condo in town. Did a lot more shows, lots of White Water, and lots more running around. I managed to try some Branson nightlife with a couple of friends -- Club 57, Ernie Biggs and that Irish pub at the Landing (name eludes me right now, but they serve a good Whiskey Sour).
Both trips were very fun, but very different (even though we saw a lot of the same shows and did the same things each trip). We're currently looking forward to our Thanksgiving trip!

I think the name of the place at the Landing is Waxy O'Shea's or something like that. My daughter was there last weekend.
