Has anyone rented a boat, and gone out on the Lakes in Branson? We have only done this once. Had a great time.

I looked into getting a Houseboat for a few days or a week and going out in the lake a few years ago during vacation with girlfriend and her kids. It was pretty pricy. I think for the time period I was looking at it was going to cost over $1000 and that didn't include their highpriced gas (even back then) that you had to buy.
I guess that you mean a smaller boat. I know that there are some places that rent bass boats, and Jetskis, and even speed boats. The bass boats were not that bad but me and the kids found a place to fish without going out in a boat. The jetski was I think $50 or $100 per hour which was WAY too high. I didn't look into anything else.
If you are looking for a bass boat, I think they wanted $50 for the day or something like that. You had to buy their gas when you got back (to fill the tank up) but I didn't think it was too bad and they had some nice boats. I am sorry I don't remember the place's name. It has been several years ago and the prices might have gone up.
