I think most Branson regulars probably know about this place but for any that have not been there, I wanted to let you know they have some internesting things.
The front of the place has tshirts, bathing suites and other things with "Branson" on the front and funny sayings. The price on the "tourist clothes" is not $5 but itn't too bad.
Behing that first bay, there are 3 more sections (bays) that are all $5 (or less) for anything in the store. I am amazed at some of the things they have. Some are closeouts and some are very nice clothes. Girlfriend found several name brand shirts and pants all for $5.
The #1 thing that I think people need to know about is the DOLLS. This company is the IMPORTER for the dolls into the US from China. The dolls have porcelain faces, hands and feet with VERY elaborate clothes from different periods and ethnic backgrounds. The dolls come in a multitute of hair colors, facial features and ethnic backgrounds. I was amazed that ALL the dolls are $5 each. I bought Girlfriend's daughters many when they were small and they all come with stands and they are still on shelves in their rooms. When they were small they played with them all the time. After they got the porcelain dolls they didn't care about Barbie anymore.
I am NOT into dolls but I go there and pick up knives and flashlights. They are also an inporter of LED flashlights. They are so brite it will hurt your eyes and because they are LED, the battery will last forever and the LEDs have a life of 500,000 hours. I think they are up to a 12 LED flashlight all for $5.
Across the road they have a store that has more expensive items (above $5). They have some nice decorative knives and swords in there and other interesting items.
Next door they have the $1 store. I buy USB extension cords there. At Best Buy the cord cost $15, I have found some there (they don't have them all the time) for $1. I stocked up last year. I have needed them several times becaues the PS3 and Xbox 360 both use USB cords for their controllers.
