Check out the new rules! You may now submit as many reviews as you wish for your favorite shows/performers. Can it be true? I don't know if I will like the new system.. Time will tell, I guess. I personally think after this experiment, it will be strictly one vote by next year. What do you think of the change?

I would like to see one vote per person for each category. The way it is now, one person can vote for their favorite numerous times. I don't think it is fair. If five different people write a review for a show and one person writes five reviews, they count the same.

It was 2 votes for performer THEN the "FAN CLUBS" got to someone and the rules got changed. NOW it is post as much crap as you want.
The DeanZ fan club is already posting the same review and changing the wording and the order of the sentances and posting as a new review.
Last year this same CRAP happened. The Tony Roi, Kirby fan clubs spent the last month writing 100s of reviews. Some were even cut/pasted from Kirby's own webpage. It was a freaking joke (a very bad joke).
At the first of the year all was good with a good set of rules to keep the fan clubs from pulling the same crap again. THEN in the last few days the rules got changed. 1 month before the end of the voting, the rules were changed to allow all the crap posts you want to post, you can post.
I think we need to find some entertainer in Branson that has no chance of winning and have all of us write 10 to 20 posts a day like the fan clubs are going to be doing and watch the fan clubs have a stroke.
The BransonCritic awards last year were crap. It was all the crap cut/pasted posts written by the fan club members. This year it is going to be the SAME.
It sickens me.

The new rules are crapola. When I read the rule change last night it didn't take me long to figure out why it happened. I was wondering how long it was going to take for someone to realize that one person had quite a few votes for best singer/performer (or whatever that particular award is called). The garbage that went on last year toward the end of voting season nearly killed the board and these rule changes should just about finish it off. And, Ceyman is right--what a joke--that's exactly what the new rules are. Oh yeah, would you like me to tell you how I really feel?

I can't believe the AUDACITY of some of the posters. BRAGGING about posting over and over and over just because 'they can". The BransonCritic site has turned to SHIT!
I ALWAYS tell what I feel! That is what gets me in trouble on "some" boards.

Well I wonder how the "Elvis Worshipers" will like me now on BransonCritic. They were acting stupid and saying they should have the "RIGHT" to post over and over "because there are people that like Tony Roi and DeanZ that don't have computers so they should be allowed to cut/paste reviews over and over".
I decided to show then what we were trying explain to them: 1 person should not be allowed to swing a vote to 1 person/performer because they are the head of his fan club.
I went in and wrote 11 reviews for Gene Yaws. Each one is not cut/pasted but a brand new review with different topics and subjects on each. I posted them. I wonder how they will like me now when they realise that 1 person can swing the balance of the vote.
We tried to explain that but they would NOT listen. Well more than 'Elvis worshipers" can play at this game and yes, it is a game. I have a lot of time on my hands lately, I wonder what catagory I can hit NEXT.

Side affect of me posting a NON-Elvis impersonator reviews: You can post a review of ANY show on BransonCritic that you want but it is THEIR choice which ones that want to count....I guess unless you are posting for an Elvis inpersonator, you won't get counted.
I showed that 1 person can write 11 reviews and throw the counts off. They changed the rules to allow multiple votes (as many as you wanted to make). We tried to tell them that it wasn't fair but was treated rudely by the "Elvis worshipers" so I SHOWED them that it could happen.
The side affect, they said 'we will count the ones we want to count and NOT counts the ones we don't want to count and OUR count if final".

Looks like they couldn't get enough reviews while limiting to two reviews per person. How would you tell a performer they won an award and received three votes? I'm hoping that the Elvis impersonators fans have a big "convention" and it's turns in to a fight. ;D Branson needs some excitement. I'm going to write a bunch of reviews for Elvis And The Superstars, he's the best Elvis impersonator.

I like the nomination of BC Czar. I wish he would join this board--I've tried but.....maybe if Mr. Admin asked him?

You all know who my vote goes for, Gene Yaws!! If they ask me for my vote. I don't like the rules either. I wish the Czar would join this board too.

I invited the Czar over. Hope he accepts the invite. I received a pm from a moderator on BC, warning me to not talk to the Czar or "there will be consequences". I feel like I'm back in grade school. ;D

They need a separate category: Best Impersonator. That would end all of the nonsense that is going on between the so called "fan clubs", cluttering up every category. The sad part is the best shows won't win an award because of a few people voting several times for an impersonator.
