Grand Country has the best breakfast buffet. The Rails is an awesome dinner buffet. I love to eat. That's how I got so fat.

For lunch and supper, I like Golden Corral because they have a big selection.
County Buffet was great for Breakfast. I have eat there a few times for supper and the veggies were great but I found them lacking on meat. They had chicken fried steaks, bbq polish sausage, and shrimp where the Golden Corral has steaks.
My favorite buffet for supper is Starvin Marvins for the CRAB LEGS. Last year was better than this year because last year they had King Crab Legs which they don't this year. This year they just have lots of snow crab legs. It is more work but they are good. The price is a little high. For the buffet and a coke, I pay including tax a little more than $30. The buffet is $24.95, cokes are $2.50 and the rest is taxes which is about 10% on food in Branson.

Grand Country Buffet. In addition to sausage, meat loaf, jumbo fried shrimp, and chicken fried steak on the main buffet line, they carve roast beef and ham for you at the far end of the buffet lines. Not to mention pizza slices, fresh hot rolls, cookies, cobler, ice cream, fresh fruit, all the makins for a great salad, baked potatos with trimmings, and much more. It is also a great value when compared to other buffets that offer less.

I like Grand Country for breakfast. The same omelette maker has been there the last two years when we were there Labor Day weekend. Since I only want a cheese omelette he gives me a bad time by asking "are you sure you want cheese on that omelette."
We went to Papa Grands Pizza Buffet at Grand Country over Labor Day weekend. It was very good but I ate too much. They had a spinach pizza with white sauce (Mr Admin--correct me if I'm wrong) and it was yummolicious!!
The Rails' seafood buffet is good. We've only been there once and they had been extremely very busy right before we arrived but the food was good and so was the service. I had read about their strawberry cobbler and didn't think that would be something I would like but it was very good.

I agree, Papa Grands has great pizza. We'll consider it part of the Grand Country Buffet.

I ALMOST went to Branson today. I woke up it was pretty outside, High in the 70s and clear blue sky (it clouded up later) and I was going to go to Branson and see a show AND then I remember that the last rain, it washed out the road I have to travel on. There is a section of the road that both lanes are down the side of the mountain.
The road is closed and the detour would add over 1.5 hours to my trip both ways. I have to go 30 miles in the oposite direction and then turn on a winding double lane "cow trail" back 35 miles to the road I have to travel. JUST TO MISS A 20 foot stretch of road.
These are back roads in the boonies. I decided I don't care to drive for an hour or more in unmarked back roads trying to find my way home after dark. No gas stations, no houses even, just farm land and a road.
I went to Little Rock and messed around. All freeway but NOT as much fun.
